The alpine Lake Bled with Slovenia's only island has been attracting visitors from all over the world for centuries. One of the highlights: the island in the middle of the lake with its wonderful beautiful views and stories of the past.
Take a ride on a traditional wooden boat (the so-called pletna), which will take you to the island, ring the wishing bell while there, visit the church on the island and the castle on the rocky cliff overlooking the lake.
